How can i have my external BMW ‘puddle’ lights connected to my headlights?
They are the lights located underneath the door handles. They go on with the footwell lighting and also dim as the footwell lighting dims too.
Can i find the fuse for the puddle lights in the fusebox and simply connect a piece of wire to a fuse that has a constant supply when the headlights are switched on (eg headlight fuse)?

run a hot wire to the area your going to mount lights or they are mounted use,a 30 AMPS. four prong relay you have line that’s power coming in to,you have post load that’s power to lights ,then you have ground that grounds electric magnet coil inside relay you can hear it click on ,ok the positive side of it goes to positive wire to head lights bulbs when you turn the head lights on they will also come on hope this helps ,the people at parts store can help show you how the relay works.
